Ruby Ross has been a participant at Easter Seals Goodwill Industries for the past 38 years! She is currently an active member of the SPICE program. Ruby initially was part of our CES program where she held a position at the Hamden Goodwill Store. There she hung children’s clothing for many years before deciding to retire and join our SPICE program in 2012.

Ruby is a soft spoken, polite and friendly woman. She is caring and comforts her peers when they are feeling blue. She helps the SPICE staff through her participation in the clean-up committee within the program.

One of Ruby’s greatest passions is singing. Her soprano voice can be heard when she performs with the SPICE choir or when she is having fun singing karaoke in the room. She is also a great dancer who gets everyone to the dancing spirit. Ruby enjoys working on various arts and craft projects which are displayed within SPICE. She is a kind, gentle woman who is loved by all and a joy to have within the program!
