The Wallingford Senior Center’s mission is to provide services and programs for older adults within the Wallingford community. These services promote these individuals’ well-being, support their independence and encourage their involvement in community life. The Wallingford Senior Center also supports Easter Seals Goodwill Industries by holding a donation drive to collect clothing for our Goodwill stores.

 

The staff within the program department at the senior center has welcomed our SPICE consumers with open arms. Our participants have daily interactions with the other seniors at the center through participation in exercise, games and various other programs. Each Tuesday they sing, dance and have a lot of fun at the DJ dance party with the other seniors. After the dance party our consumers have the option of buying a nutritious lunch at the Community Café or the Lakeview Café within the senior center.
