Our Easter Seals Goodwill Industries Volunteer of the year goes to Mr. Fred Valenti. Fred has been a longtime volunteer and supporter of our agency and our mission. He has been volunteering with our agency and helping to make our golf tournament a success each year for the last five years and prior to that he participated in the tournament with his friends and colleagues.

 

Before his recent retirement Fred ran Valenti Chevrolet, Porsche Audi of Wallingford, and several other highly successful dealerships, which he has since turned over to the care of his children so that he might spend some time enjoying his retirement with lots of golf and his family.

 

Fred approaches everything he does with vigor and has taken great care of his community with his efforts to give back. Not only does Fred help serve the Easter Seals Goodwill mission, but he has also been on the Board of Directors for the Dime Savings Bank of Wallingford and a member of the Wallingford Pension Commission for over 20 years, his last 10 years spent serving as their Chairman. Fred is also the past President and Director of the Wallingford YMCA, a director of the Wallingford Boy’s Club  and the Past President of the Wallingford Exchange Club.
